Dr Ewa Lotko awarded for an outstanding doctorate in the field of public finances and tax law from the countries of Central and Eastern Europe

On September 20, 2018, International Commission for scientific awards for outstanding doctorate and monography in public finance and tax law from Central and Eastern Europe Countries chaired by Prof. zw. dr hab. Krystyna Piotrowska-Marczak awarded the prize. This year the prize was awarded to Dr. Ewa Lotko for her doctoral dissertation entitled “Legal and financial instruments of the public debt reduction in Poland”, which was written under the direction of Prof. zw. dr hab. Eugeniusz Ruśkowski. The auxiliary promoter was Dr. Urszula Zawadzka-Pąk. PhD reviewer for the competition was Doc. JUDr. Petr Mrkývka, Ph.D. The vote took place during the meeting of the XVII International Scientific Conference in Prague, and the award ceremony will take place during the next XVIII International Scientific Conference.

At the same time, we would like to encourage you to submit applications regarding the award of the prize for 2018 by 30 June 2019 in accordance with the procedure provided for in the Resolution No. 1/18 of the Board of Directors of June 25, 2018 regarding the appointment of International Commission for scientific awards for outstanding doctorate and monography in public finance and tax law from Central and Eastern Europe Countries. We hope that the annual award is going to contribute to the increase of prestige of outstanding scientific works in the field of public finances and tax law from the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and their greater popularization.
